We had a great “Commitment Sunday” this past weekend. Nearly 150 people were there, and 11 were baptized! and I want to share with you some of the responses from the people who came.

“My prayer today is that God leads this church as a group of ‘family’ out the doors of the Long Center into the community of Lafayette to open the door to Christ to spiritually needy children and adults.”
“This reminds me of the day I was baptized and how important that was to me and how I do see that as the day that I became closer to God. I’m so glad to be a part of this service today and I am so thankful for God’s love and for all he is doing through this church.”
