i have not felt welcome in too many churches and been made to feel uncomfortable. i recently have asked JESUS to come back into my life and take a stronger hold than HE ever has. the thing is he never left. he was always there just waiting for me to be ready. i am ready and HE has come back to me stronger than ever. I am on fire for JESUS and i hope that lafayette community church is where i am going to be able to spend my sunday worship time.

I just broke up with someone I’ve been dating for a year and a half. It was hard but God is so amazing. When one door shuts, a million others open! My family loves me, my friends are wonderful and God gives me so much strength. It’s seriously amazing. Being aware of what He’s doing in my life is so fulfilling. I love God and this church.

We had a great “Commitment Sunday” this past weekend. Nearly 150 people were there, and 11 were baptized! and I want to share with you some of the responses from the people who came.
