Greetings everyone,

This is just a last minute reminder of our church workday tomorrow. We will be meeting at the new church building on 3667 Braddock Dr behind the Igloo on 350 South (Veteran’s Memorial Parkway) to accomplish TWO GOALS:

Flood a few neighborhoods near the new church location with some kindness and goodwill. Get some work done in the building.

Please come if you can. We’ll be meeting at the church building at 9am with smiles and trash bags!

I just have to say that we have some great volunteers in our church. Part of me feels guilty that I have not had the time to be over at the new location much doing construction and stuff, but most of me feels completely joyful that we have the people we do who are putting in that work!

Construction, finances, welcome team, setup team, worship team, everything we do is possible because of people who love to serve you! Give them some love when you see them!

We want you to join us for our July Relocation Vision Dinner! At 6pm on July 31 at 3667 Braddock Drive, we will be hosting you and your family to a great (free) dinner, providing childcare for $5 per kid, treating you to some great entertainment, and presenting our vision for what God could do through LCC in our new location.

We want you to be there! Please take the time to register here:

Jeff here, and I have the keys to our new office space!

For those of you who haven’t heard, LCC has leased our first 24/7 facility for office space, kidZONE, and worship gatherings! God has been really good to us by providing 3667 Braddock Drive Suites C & D to us for an incredibly reasonable price. I am so excited about the possibilities there.

See the details on the new location here.

As a result of this new turn in our lives together, I need to ask for your help:

  • First of all, we need some volunteers to help us fix up the place. Stay tuned to our announcements to make sure you find out when and where we will be meeting for our work days.
  • Secondly, we will need you to be praying. For some, the new location will be an inconvenience and they will need to consider whether the inconvenience is worth it. Pray that God gives them wisdom. Other people have never checked us out before, and the new location will be a motivating opportunity for them to visit. Pray that God brings them to us when the time is right for them and us.
  • Thirdly, we’ll need some financial support to get this place looking the way we need it to — nice, inviting signage, clean flooring, painted walls, well-appointed bathrooms, etc. You can give to our Construction Fund right here online. Just click this link.

We believe this coming Fall is going to be a landmark moment in the life of our church and in the well-being of our city. Our church, our lives, and this city belong to God. I can’t wait to see what He does with us all!
