Special guest Reggie Alderman shows us the significance of the fact that Jesus didn’t stay in the grave but that he went all the way to the resurrection. Not only that, but he challenges us not to think of the message of Jesus like a baton in a relay race. It’s our responsibility to pass that baton on to the next generation of believers.

This is just a reminder of an announcement made last Sunday that THIS YEAR there will be no Christmas Eve Service for LCC. There are many reasons for this, but the main thing we want you to know is that we aren’t “canceling” the service. Instead, we are liberating you to celebrate the Christmas story with your family in the relaxing environment of your own home.

Let us encourage you to peacefully spend your Christmas Eve reflecting on the profound truth that God has entered this world—our world—as one of us. Then, let us encourage you to come to our Sunday services this weekend and the next to rejoice together with God’s people.

If you are looking for something to reflect upon, let me point you to John 1. It is my favorite Christmas story anyway.

Also, if you want to celebrate Christmas Eve with us, you can gather the family around your computer for a few minutes and enjoy the video from last year’s service.
