I’ve been coming to this church for a month now and it’s been awesome! I love the worship and the messages are awesome! Thank you for being a blessing in my life! — Melissa
I disliked the tithing/treasure principle when the teachings began a few weeks ago. I now see things more clearly, this week really brought it into perspective. Overall, I’m glad I didn’t tune it out like I originally wanted to.
Please pray that I will be disciplined and faithful with the finances that God has blessed me with, so that I may one day be able to show His love through extravagant giving. I long to be generous even now… I just feel a stirring vision for what God could do in the future if I am faithful now… I want to be in a position to be the guy to do things like start the debt re-payment program in churches, etc.
In this message, Pastor Jeff addresses the topic of investing for eternity. As Jim Elliott said, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.”
Speaker: Jeff Mikels :: Passage: Various
Pastor Jeff tackles the specific issue of tithing in this message. Many people differ on the purpose or the specifics of tithing, but the Bible is pretty clear. Both the Old Testament and the New Testament address the principle of giving God the first 10% or more of our income. Listen up to hear Pastor Jeff Mikels explain these passages and tackle a few tough questions related to tithing.
