In this message, I start out by harping on the misuse of “spiritual gifts assessment” tools for Christians. Largely, we have misunderstood the spiritual gifts, and if we read 1 Corinthians 12, we find out that there is no authoritative list of gifts, and the purpose of my gifts has nothing to do with me.
